Accessories

Gearboxes, sensors, and linear units are selected per project. Each page gives the function, selection, standard models, and order code.

Cables

Cables are supplied with the motor by length. The length step is written into the order code and selected in the configurator.

CableLength stepsNotes
Stepper motor cable1M 2M 3M 4M 5M 8M 10M 15M 20M1M is the usual default. If the length is not fixed, write NULL. Do not substitute 20M.
Servo power cableSame as aboveConductor size follows motor power
Encoder cableSame as aboveIncremental and absolute interfaces differ. Match the cable to the motor on the order.
Servo brake cableSame as above24 V power-off brake. Select it with a brake motor for a vertical axis or when position must hold after power off. The order code uses SC.

Selection and ordering

Prepare the project conditions in this order:

  1. Fix the drive and motor first. The three drives and their motors are the configurator default. Cable length is selected with them.
  2. Then list the software functions. Home, limits, brake, DMX, and multi-axis cascade each map to a specific accessory.
  3. Write five constraints. Axis count, travel, load and center of gravity, mounting, speed, and accuracy.
  4. Include the motor and drive model. Gearbox input flange, sensor wiring, and stage connection all depend on those two.
