Selection and application

Which machines this system fits

The fit is a standalone multi-axis machine whose sequence can start from a button, an input, UDP, or DMX512. The motor still has to sit inside the published stepper, servo, or MSP1001 conditions.

Start from the axes, the trigger, and the computer

Automation stations, exhibit mechanisms, lighting machinery, and test rigs can be evaluated on the same software when every motor is inside the stepper DC 24–48 V range, the servo AC 220 V range, or the MSP1001 pulse conditions.

Whether the computer stays on site chooses online or offline execution. It does not by itself decide that the machine fits.

System responsibilities

Handled by XMSPRetained in the existing system
Sequence for a standalone multi-axis machineA safety circuit that must remain
Triggers from a button, an input, UDP, or DMX512A large line-interlock program that already lives in a PLC
Stepper, servo, and MSP1001 mixed in one projectA motor or drive outside the nameplate ranges

Information for configuration

Machine purpose, axis count, trigger method, and motor nameplates form the initial configuration. For an existing PLC, also include the roles of the safety circuit and line interlocks.

System conditions

Application: a standalone multi-axis machine, a known trigger, and motors inside the published ranges.

Configuration: whether the safety circuit and the existing PLC interlocks must stay where they are.
