Frame, power, encoder, brake, and cable
These fields form the motor configuration. Cable length follows the site routing distance, while encoder and brake follow the actual motor configuration.

Read the published range on the nameplate
| Item | Integrated stepper | Integrated servo | MSP1001 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supply | DC 24–48 V | AC 220 V | AC 110–220 V |
| Motor range | Frames 20–86 | 100–1500 W | Third-party drive |
| Feedback | Open or closed loop | Incremental or absolute | Step/direction, 100 kHz maximum |
| Public code | Brake and cable are segments | Encoder, brake, and cable are segments | No cable segment |
Frame and wattage come from the motor nameplate. The table gives each product family's selection range; current and torque follow the specific motor model.
Segments that stay separate in the code
Stepper and servo order codes keep brake and cable length as separate fields. Cable length follows the site routing distance and stays blank until confirmed. The MSP1001 public code has no cable field.
Servo encoder type is entered as incremental or absolute, and the brake follows the actual motor configuration. Both are selected separately from wattage.
Four items to check together on a third-party drive
- The control mode is step and direction.
- The level is 5 V.
- The wiring is common anode or common cathode.
- The pulse frequency does not exceed 100 kHz.
Order fields
Application: the nameplate is inside the published range above, and the code segments match.
Configuration: leave an unknown cable, brake, or encoder blank. Dimension drawings and the full terminal sheet come after contact.
